2020 Hyundai Kona Electric SUV Rumors, Release Date, Redesign, Price. Hyundai has finally decided to show its subcompact utility crossover known as the 2020 Hyundai Kona Electric SUV. Seemingly, the inbound Kona EV marks Hyundai’s first foray into the subcompact utility vehicle division.

The brand has elected to use the name to signify that it has designed the new electric SUV for adventurous purposes. This EV boasts a 217-miles-of-range and lands squarely in the middle of the electric vehicle department. This is because its range is a little shorter than the Tesla Model 3 and Chevy Bolt, but longer than other EVs like Volkswagen e-Golf and BMW i3.
